Objectives of the Centre for Planning and Evaluation (UiTM)

- Strategic Planning
To design and develop strategic plans for academic, research, and institutional development in alignment with UiTM’s vision and mission, including curriculum planning and programme development. - Quality Assessment and Measurement
To evaluate and ensure that the quality of education delivered in UiTM meets high standards. This includes assessing courses, teaching effectiveness, and the adequacy of educational resources. - Programme Coordination and Monitoring
To coordinate and monitor the implementation of academic and non-academic programmes across UiTM campuses, ensuring that all initiatives are executed according to established plans and guidelines. - Research and Development
To conduct research related to quality assurance, programme effectiveness, and institutional performance, in order to identify strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement. - Enhancing Teaching and Learning Effectiveness
To provide support systems that enhance teaching and learning processes, and to evaluate their effectiveness in achieving intended learning outcomes. - Reporting and Documentation
To prepare comprehensive assessment reports on academic and non-academic programme performance for internal improvement, accreditation, and external audit purposes. - Feedback Management
To collect and analyse feedback from students, lecturers, and other stakeholders to gauge satisfaction levels and programme effectiveness, and to use the findings for continuous improvement. - Participation in Accreditation and Quality Assurance
To ensure UiTM complies with national and international accreditation standards, and to support corrective and improvement actions when required.
